Informativa sui cookie
This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used by this website, in accordance with art. 122 of the Italian privacy code, the GDPR and the cookie guidelines of the Italian data protection authority (decision of 10 June 2021 and subsequent updates). Last updated: September 2026.
What cookies are
They are small text files the site saves on your device. Some are essential to make it work and are always installed; others measure visits, make third-party content work — the map of the office, the videos in the «Recent cases» section — or measure advertising campaigns. The latter are only installed after you have given consent, which you can give, refuse or change at any time from the button or the link at the foot of every page.
The four categories
| Category | Name / provider | Purpose and data collected | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | kiron_consent — first party | Stores your cookie choices so you are not asked again on every visit. It contains only the three categories accepted or refused and the date of the choice. | 6 months | Not required |
| Necessary | WordPress session cookies — first party | Operation of the contact form and anti-abuse protection (security token). No personal data. | Session | Not required |
| Necessary | Anti-abuse limiter — first party, server side | Not a cookie: the server keeps for ten minutes an encrypted value derived from your IP address, to prevent automated submission of false enquiries. The address cannot be reconstructed and is not used for anything else. | 10 minutes | Not required |
| Statistics | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) — Google Ireland Ltd. | Aggregate statistics on visits: pages viewed, source, device type, length of visit. IP anonymised and no sharing of data with Google for its own purposes. | 14 months | Required |
| Third party | Google Maps — Google Ireland Ltd. | Shows the map of the office on the Contact and Home pages. Google receives your IP address and browser data. Until you accept, the map is replaced by a placeholder and no request is sent to Google. | Up to 6 months | Required |
| Third party | YouTube in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com) — Google Ireland Ltd. | Plays the videos in the «Recent cases» section and any embedded in articles. Before consent the video is replaced by a placeholder and no request is sent. After consent the video is loaded but does not start by itself: it plays when you press play. | Up to 6 months | Required |
| Third party | Instagram (instagram.com) — Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Plays any reels embedded in the «Recent cases» section. Meta receives your IP address and browser data and, if you have an Instagram session open, can link the view to your account. The same mechanism applies: no request before consent, and the video does not start by itself afterwards. | Up to 13 months (Meta cookies) | Required |
| Advertising | Meta Pixel (_fbp, fr) — Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Measures the results of campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and makes it possible to show ads to people who have visited the site, including through custom and lookalike audiences. It involves profiling for advertising purposes. | 3 months (_fbp) · 90 days (fr) | Required |
What happens if you do not consent
The site works in full: you can read every page, fill in the form, call and write. Only the map and the videos stay covered, and you can still open them in a new tab using the link below each placeholder. No information about your visit is sent to Google or to Meta.
Closing the banner without choosing counts as refusing the non-essential cookies.
Managing cookies
On your first visit a banner appears with three equally prominent choices: Accept all, Refuse, Customise. Under «Customise» you can switch on the three optional categories separately — statistics, third party, advertising — and save.
The button inside a video or map placeholder switches on the «third party» category only: someone who wants to watch that video does not end up having accepted advertising as well.
You can change your mind at any time from the «Cookie preferences» button at the foot of the page, and you can delete or block cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
For Meta\'s personalised advertising you can also use the ad preferences of your account and the Off-Facebook Activity tool.
What we do not use
The site\'s typefaces are hosted on our own server: there is no call to Google Fonts. The links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and WhatsApp are plain links: they install no cookies until you click them and send no data to those services from our page.
